TAKING A CLOSER VIEW: LOOKING INTO THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF PLANTS.

Explore the power of drawing to express the intriguing nature of fascinating and dynamic medicinal plant forms growing in this beautiful garden.

Artist in Residence Pauline Aitken will be working in the garden   from Saturday 2nd July to Saturday 9th July when you can meet her and talk to her about her work. As part of the residency she will be holding one & two day workshops on drawing.

The one day workshop is on Tuesday July 5th 10.00am – 4.00pm, when you can experiment with materials and techniques to find a personal approach to your subject matter.

On Wednesday July 6th 10.00am – 4.00pm there will be the opportunity to develop your ideas and skills in more depth.

July 5th. 10.00am – 4.00pm.  £15.00

July 5th and July 6th 10.00am – 4pm.  £25.00

A wide range of drawing materials will be provided.

A deposit of £5.00 for the one – day workshop and £10.00 if you would like to attend for two days is required to secure a place, the full balance being paid on the day. (In the unlikely event of the workshops being cancelled, this will be returned to you).

The workshops are based in the Herbology House, with the option of exploring and working amongst the wealth of plants in this inspirational garden.

Refreshments are provided, but please bring your own lunch.
