SUMMARY:Guest Workshop: Art in the Garden: Drawing and Painting Workshop\, 
 Indoors and Out in the Garden
DESCRIPTION:On this half-day drawing and painting course\, you’ll be guid
 ed you through observation techniques and drawing\, sketching and watercol
 our methods including capturing perspective\, creating depth and contrast\
 , using colour wash and mark making. We’ll look at the joy of recreating
  our love of plants and gardens through art and of recording directly from
  nature and explore different materials including pencils\, inks and water
 colours. The workshop will teach techniques and methods which will build c
 onfidence in working outdoors\, directly observing from nature. Level: Sui
 table for beginners and experienced artists alike.\nWe’ll be indoors and
  out in a small group to ensure time for personal attention\, working dire
 ctly from life out in the beautiful Dilston Physic Garden where weather pe
 rmits\, with the comfort of a warm room to retreat to when necessary!\nPle
 ase bring suitable clothing and footwear for walking and sitting outside\,
  something to sit on (camping stool\, picnic mat or gardening kneeler)\, a
 ny art materials you wish to bring\, a water bottle for both your own refr
 eshment and to top up your painting water and snacks as you wish. Tea and
