DESCRIPTION:This is a day to celebrate the deepening winter and the gifts o
 f 2026 as it draws to a close. In many traditions\, when the sun dips belo
 w the horizon around the time of the winter solstice it’s a time of acce
 ptance\, conserving energy\, nurturing and reflection\, but also of thanks
  and of promise of what’s to come\, of what the great cycle holds for us
  every year.\n\nWe\, too\, are taking a day off! We’ll spend it explorin
 g some of traditional arts of the wise woman and her ‘oldest knowledge
 ’ which\, as it happens\, are the fundamentals of a well-balanced\, well
 -connected life and an everyday relationship with nature. We’ll learn th
 e basics of inner balance\, forage\, do some basic herbalism\, learn tools
  for working through big life issues with nature\, explore how to mark lif
 e’s big moments for our own wellbeing\, and we’ll celebrate as we dese
 rve.\n\nMost of all\, this is a day to give earth and ourselves some love!
 \n\nPlease Note: You might find it useful to bring a blanket\, a blank-pag
 e notebook\, a clean-lidded jar\, something to gather into\, and something
  to write/draw with.\n\nAbout Dr. Juno Quaintrell: I use a nature-centred 
 approach to help women navigate midlife challenges and find a saner\, more
  authentic way of being. With almost two decades of specialised cross-cult
 ural research\, I help them tap into what indigenous peoples call ‘our o
 ldest knowledge’ through retreat-courses\, workshops\, and individual gu
 idance and support. My approach uniquely gives my clients nature-centred u
 nderpinning for life\, helping them move forward into their best and most
