SUMMARY:Plant Spirit Medicine Weekend*
DESCRIPTION:Working with plants as living\, evolved\, intelligent beings an
 d coming to them from a place of reverence\, allows access to a deeper med
 icine that was familiar to our ancestors. In this way plants can can act a
 s our allies and be profoundly helpful\, not only for physical ailments\, 
 but also on our personal spiritual journey.\n\nWe invite you to treat this
  weekend as a retreat which will offer you the space and opportunity to aw
 aken and develop your subtle senses\, and explore a medicine that is based
  upon our relationship with specific plants and an opening to the teaching
 s they have to share with us.\n\nThe weekend will include meditation\, dev
 eloping the ability to perceive with the heart\, journeying to the beat of
  a drum\, journaling and spending slow\, spacious time with some of our wo
 nderful native medicinal plants and trees. You'll find your own plant ally
  to work with at this stage in your life’s journey and will prepare an e
 ssence from this plant to take home and use.\n\nPlease bring a packed lunc
 h\; hot drinks will be supplied. You will also need a notebook and pen. Pl
 ease also bring waterproofs and something to sit on if it is wet\, as the 
 course will still run.\n\nThis workshop is hosted annually by Ross Menzies
  &amp\; Katrina Padmore. Ross has been practising as a medical herbalist f
 or over 20 years\, and the pair run a horticultural therapy project for pe
 ople with a wide range of support needs.  For more information about how
