 , and mistletoe. But how much do we know about the origins of these tradit
 ions or their age-old significance?\n\nJoin us for a seminar that explores
  the deep-rooted association between plants and seasonal celebrations. We
 ’ll uncover how\, through history\, plants have marked key points on the
  calendar\, especially during the rituals and festivals surrounding the wi
 nter and summer solstices. In Western Christian traditions\, these solstic
 es are celebrated on Christmas Day\, December 25\, and St. John's Day\, Ju
 ne 24.\n\nThese seasonal plants were visible means of harvesting the unsee
 n energies of nature\, believed to be the most potent and mysterious at ti
