Become a Botanical Volunteer at Dilston Physic Garden and carry out essential botanical processing of the fresh physic garden herbs to supply the Physic Shop botanical teas and tinctures, all proceeds of which go to the physic garden charity for education.
This role includes harvesting, drying and processing, to preparing teas and tinctures and presenting herbs for sale. You do not need previous experience and we can provide any training needed, though commitment, enthusiasm and attention to detail are essential.
Benefits include working in the tranquil Physic Garden, a refreshing break from routine, picking up botanical tip-bits for health and medicine, gaining invaluable experience, enjoying good company and the odd piece of cake!
