An introduction to Native American traditions. Using the energies of the Medicine Wheel for guidance, we will connect more deeply with Mother Earth – and perhaps find your Path With Heart. We will smudge with sacred herbs and collect ‘totems’ from nature to build a collective Medicine Wheel. It is a day of comings and goings, as we reflect individually on specific themes and return to share our discoveries. There will be a guided meditation to meet your Power Animal. We willend with a
Giveaway Ceremony around the campfire.
The beautiful and inspiring Dilston Physic Garden has many treasures to explore and quiet corners to sit and reflect. We have the Herbology House for making drinks and gathering together if it is wet, but will spend as much time as possible outside. Please bring waterproof clothing, suitable footwear and a small plastic sheet to sit on in case the ground or your chair is wet.
Kate Cowin is an energy healer, Angelic Reiki Master Teacher and complementary therapist. She has studied shamanism, learning much about healing traditions from Native American friends in the US. Her company, Sweetgrass, also imports authentic Native American jewellery and crafts.
