Getting There:
Dilston Physic Garden is located between Hexham and Corbridge on the A695, approximately 15 miles west of Newcastle Upon Tyne, in the Tyne Valley. The Valley encompasses some of the most beautiful countryside Northumberland has to offer and Hadrian's Wall is literally only a stone's throw away.

By Car from Corbridge:
Travel south across the bridge at Corbridge and at the roundabout, turn right onto the A695. Travel along the the A695 for approx. 1/2 mile and go over the level crossing. Approx. 300yds after the level crossing (immediately after a small bridge) turn left onto a small lane marked with a red 'Dilston Physic Garden' sign. Our car park is immediately on your left and the garden is about 200yds further along the lane, beyond the two properties after a sharp right bend.

By Car from Hexham:
Travel along the A695 towards Corbridge. Immediately before the small bridge over Devil's Water, turn right onto a small lane, marked with a red 'Dilston Physic Garden' sign. Our car park is immediately on your left and the garden is about 200 yards further along the lane, beyond the two properties after a sharp right bend.

By Train:
Trains from Newcastle to Hexham/Carlisle run approximately every half an hour and stop at Corbridge Station. The garden is about a 15 minute walk from the station.

By Bus:
Bus services between Newcastle and Hexham/Carlisle include the No.685 and the No.602, which run every hour and 1/2hour respectively and both of which stop at Dilston.
