What’s Happening

Rethink your relationship with health, medicine, and nature! The powerful, oft forgotten, benefits of medicinal plants that are essential to maintain our health and to use as medicine, and the restorative benefits of nature for wellbeing, are all part of our heritage. And the wealth of scientific evidence we now have to prove this, means that a new era in health and medicine is unfolding.

To find out more explore our growing blog resources, book inspiring group tours and school visits, and join inspiring talks, workshops, courses and events. Our new affordable Garden Membership means you can visit the physic garden often to learn more and rejuvenate mind, body and spirit.

Our programme of events are designed to guide you on your botanical journey and provided by DPG and its many inspiring facilitators:

  • Make home medicines to effectively treat the range of common conditions we encounter in every day life.
  • Use edible medicinal plants and herbs everyday to help prevent disease and to support health, wellbeing and improve our conscious states.
  • Discover the plant medicine that is clinical proven to improve memory, sleep, anxiety, mood and more but with few if any side-effects such as addiction.
  • Learn more with a 10-day Foundation in Plant Medicine – a truly immersive inspiring course in the tranquil physic garden.
  • Children can join regular Children’s Potion Clubs, and monthly NIMH Junior Herbalist Club for a 1, 2 or 3 year course.
  • Book a consultation with a NIMH medical herbalist in the garden dispensary.
  • Free community events in nature.
  • Nurture wellbeing in nature through art, craft, music, writing and philosophy.

Please kindly park only in our Top-Up Car Park for all events! * = Foundation in Plant Medicine optional course choice.
