Join us for the launch of our Herb of the Month series, hosted by medical herbalist Sarah Jane Scouten. Each month, Sarah Jane will introduce you to a healing herb’s unique properties, traditional uses, and practical applications.
For our first session, we’ll focus on 2 iconic summer herbs: Calendula and St John’s Wort — two beloved herbs known for their soothing, healing qualities and rich history in herbal medicine.
We will be exploring the medicinal properties and applications of these herbs, including internal and external preparations to be used at home. Learn about growing, foraging, processing and plant ID. The workshop will include a herb walk around Dilston Physic Garden and offers tea, coffee and biscuits. The workshop is aimed toward adults, however children over 12 are welcome with a guardian.
Bring your knowledge and experience to share!
