Beltane is a festival to celebrate our entry into the bright half of the year – a festival of creativity and abundance, when the “bel-fire” is lit in honour of the Sun God Belinus.
Independently run by local members of Bards, Ovates and Druids this event is part of a series of 8 which explore and deepen awareness of earth-centred spiritual heritage, symbolically celebrating the wheel of the year.
Following a private group ceremony, the afternoon gathering is open to general visitors in the afternoon – more information coming closer to the event!
