In these troubled times our body’s nervous system is often overstimulated and persistently challenged through stress, overwork, fear, anxiety and sleeplessness. Herbs can be wonderful healing allies: many are nourishing, soothing and restorative for the nerves. They can help us stay calm and grounded, sleep deeply, and cope better with stress.
This day involves meeting a variety of ‘nervine’ herbs in the Physic garden and exploring their healing qualities. We shall be creating herbal teas and other remedies.
Different herbs suit different people…come along and find out which ‘Herbs for the Nerves’ are right for you .
Please Note: you will need to bring a packed lunch, and wear suitable clothing/footwear for the day.
