Create three beautiful botanical plaster relief plaques or Christmas tree decorations – each inscribed with your intentions for the season ahead.
Join us at Dilston Physic Garden for a hands-on day of creative nature connection. You’ll forage for evergreens and seed heads, then press them into clay to create three unique plaster relief plaques. Each one will be inscribed with your own intention: one for what you’re releasing (2026), one for what you’re resting in (the threshold), and one for what you’re welcoming (2027).
The plaster captures every vein and texture of the botanicals and it’s a fantastic way of preserving the garden’s beauty long after the season ends. You’ll leave with three pieces of artwork to display at home, plus the confidence to continue this meditative technique yourself.
What’s included:

All materials (plaster, clay, tools)

Suitable for: All skill levels. No experience needed. Maximum 12 participants.
What to bring: Warm layers and sturdy shoes for the garden (we’ll be outdoors for ~1 hour), an apron or old clothes (plaster can be messy!), three small containers or tubs (eg butter or ice cream) and your own lunch.

With almost two decades of specialised cross-cultural research, I help them tap into what indigenous peoples call ‘our oldest knowledge’ through retreat-courses, workshops, and individual guidance and support.
