The ancestors are all around us; in the pulse of our blood and the wisdom woven into the soil beneath our feet. As the month of ancestral reverence draws to a close, join Ceryn Rowntree at one of Northumberland’s most beautifully held spaces for a combination of ancestral reverence, ceremony and thought-provoking self-reclamation through lineage connection. ‘
Together with the beautiful Dilston Physic Garden, we will step up to the thresholds of ancestral connection, discovering how the land itself can become a doorway into the wisdom of those who came before us. You don’t need to know your ancestors’ names or even what it is that you’re seeking from them. The land holds the memory our human minds have sometimes lost.
