
Sometimes we need a little reminder that the real reason we do writing is … because we like it! Journaling is a marvellous tool for encouraging your hopes and dreams, and finding joy in everyday life. Join us for a day of finding your own personal wisdom and exploring paths to positivity through creative and enjoyable writing activities. There’s lots of benefits to be had in doing one-off journaling at the workshop. But you may just find that it provides the motivation and tools to keep you writing regularly for your wellbeing — and fun! As always, everything is oriented towards creative wellbeing and feeling good about ourselves and our writing.
And what better place than magical Dilston Physic Garden to find our creative nature through some gentle mindful writing? As Writer in Wellbeing in Residence at the Garden and having led workshops here for 10 years, I know how these beautiful surroundings and atmosphere nurture words, ideas, creativity, and calm — as well as friendly and insightful discussion with like-minded and friendly people. Though you never have to read aloud anything you’ve written! All writing levels welcome, anyone can do it.
