Echinacea & Honey Tincture

Echinacea & Honey Tincture 100ml

Ingredients: Echinacea purpurea root and herb with honey in alcohol 45% ABV.

Our Echinacea & Honey Tincture helps to support the immune system (and is also exceptionally delicious!). Especially useful during the winter months, echinacea has been greatly valued by Native Americans for centuries because of its immune-boosting properties. Scientific evidence indicates that echinacea lowers the risk of recurrent respiratory infections and complications, and is immunomodulatory, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory. Read more about the science-backed health-promoting properties here, on our Resources page.

Honey is a food medicine used globally by all generations and traditions, ancient and modern. A large number of laboratory and (currently limited) clinical studies, confirm the broad-spectrum antimicrobial (antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, and antimycobacterial) properties of honey, attributed to the presence of antioxidant polyphenols, phenolic acids, flavonoids and bee peptides, which act to increase cytokine release, immune-modulating and anti-inflammatory agents in the body – the antimicrobial action of honey involves several mechanisms.
